What Do We Do?
The Kiwanis Club puts more than $10,000
a year back into the local economy
through our toy drive, the scholarships
we give annually and the many local
events we participate in that support
Island Rec, other local organizations
and our local children.
Kiwanis is an organization of
volunteers dedicated to changing lives...
but to do that, you have to wear the
right attire :-)
Great News!
Ashley Strutz from the Family Resource
Center received a check in the amount of
$5,000 from the Kiwanis Club of Friday
Harbor for their work in the community
at a recent Kiwanis lunch meeting held
at the Friday Harbor House. The Family
Resource Center is the clearing house
for San Juan Island and provides many
services for children on the island.
This was the largest single donation
made by the local service club and they
were pleased to be able to donate a
sizable amount to such a worthy
organization
